Duda Farm Fresh Foods

We’ve been working with Duda Farm Fresh Foods for Florida grown vegetables the past 10 years. Their in-house breeding program has perfected varietals that perform tremendously well in the South Florida climate and allows us to deliver farm fresh produce to our stores just a few short days from harvest.

Wish Farms

Wish Farms has been one of our key supplier partners for over 40 years. This century-old company was founded by Harris Wishnatzki, an immigrant peddler who arrived in the U.S. in 1904. The Wishnatzki family has been involved since their arrival in Plant City, and the company is currently run by Gary Wishnatzki, son of Joe and grandson of Harris. In addition to being a primary strawberry grower in the Southeast, Wish Farms is also a main grower of Florida Blueberries.

Astin Farms

Based in Plant City, FL, Astin Farms has been providing Winn-Dixie with top-quality strawberries and blueberries for over two decades. Founded by Sam Astin Sr. in 1923, the farm still remains family-owned and operated by Sam Astin III. With over 100 years of experience, their now 2000+ acre farm produces over 50 million pounds of fruit each season!

L&M Farms

We’ve been working with L&M on Florida grown potatoes for the past 7 years. Their expertise in both farming and post-harvest handling of potatoes has been instrumental in delivering quality and freshness to our produce department year after year.

Lipman Family Farms

Lipman, founded 76 years ago, is now led by a fourth-generation CEO. As the largest open-field tomato grower in North America and a top grower in Florida, Lipman employs over 3,500 people annually. For over 30 years they have partnered with us to provided tomatoes year-round, ensuring fresh foods are accessible to all.

Hendrix Vidalias

Winn-Dixie has had the pleasure of doing business with Hendrix for over 35 years. Kevin Hendrix, a second-generation farmer, has a family legacy of farming in the Vidalia district of South Georgia for 48 years. Hendrix provides us with Vidalia sweet onions and watermelons when they are in season.

Liuzza Produce Farms

Liuzza Produce has been a trusted grower partner with Winn-Dixie for over 30 years, showcasing their longstanding relationship and commitment to quality. Not only are they one of the main strawberry growers in Louisiana, but they also produce a variety of fresh vegetables, including cabbage, squash, Creole tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. Owner Anthony Liuzza remains actively involved in managing the operations, ensuring the continued success and excellence of their produce.
